1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the OneSpec platform at onespec.io ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and OneSpec.

2. Description of Service

OneSpec provides an AI-powered receptionist service that answers phone calls, captures leads, schedules appointments, and automates follow-up communications for businesses. The Service includes a web dashboard for managing calls, appointments, customers, and settings.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Create an account with accurate and complete information
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be authorized to act on behalf of the business you register
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

OneSpec offers subscription plans with varying features and usage limits. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

  • Free trials, when offered, may be limited in duration and features
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Make or facilitate robocalls, spam, or unsolicited communications
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Transmit malware or interfere with the Service's operation
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to handle phone calls and generate responses. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. You acknowledge that:

  • AI responses are generated automatically and may not always be accurate
  • You are responsible for reviewing call transcripts and appointment details
  • OneSpec is not liable for decisions made based on AI-generated content
  • The AI receptionist represents your business — you are responsible for ensuring its configuration is appropriate

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service may integrate with third-party services such as Google Calendar, Stripe, and telephony providers. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. You may connect and disconnect integrations at any time through your dashboard settings.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of your business data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data as necessary to provide the Service.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by OneSpec and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written consent.

10. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned downtime.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneSpec shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold OneSpec harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may delete your account through the dashboard settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia.
